How to Maintain The PCB Board to Extend The Service Life

PCB board is based on an insulating board, cut into a certain size, with at least one conductive pattern attached to it, and holes (such as component holes, fastening holes, metallized holes, etc.), which are used to replace the previous device electronics chassis of the components, and realize the interconnection between the electronic components. The following I will introduces the maintenance knowledge of PCB circuit boards:

A. Annual maintenance knowledge:

1. Clean the dust on the PCB board.

2. Carry out sampling inspection on the electrolytic capacitor capacity in the PCB board. If it is found that the electrolytic capacitor capacity is less than 20% of the nominal capacity, it should be replaced. Generally, the electrolytic capacitor should be replaced after ten years of service life to ensure the performance of PCB circuit of the board.

3. For high-power devices coated with heat-dissipating grease, check whether the heat-dissipating grease is dry or not. For dry heat-dissipating grease, remove the dry heat-dissipating grease and apply new heat-dissipating grease to prevent the circuit board. The high-power devices in the medium burn out due to poor heat dissipation.

B. Seasonal maintenance:

1. Clean up the dust on the PCB circuit board every quarter. You can clean it with a special cleaning fluid for the circuit board. After cleaning the dust on it, use a blower to dry the circuit board.

2. Observe whether the electronic components in the circuit have any traces of high temperature, and whether the electrolytic capacitors have bulged and leaked, and they should be replaced if any.
