PCB is very common in life now. PCB board is an important carrier of large-scale integrated circuits. The previous DIY industry had a misunderstanding: “The more layers the PCB is, the better.” However, this is not the case. The increase in the number of PCB layers is actually reluctantly. Due to size constraints, double-layer wiring cannot meet the demand, then more layers of PCB boards are needed for support. Multi-layer PCBs are more costly and are not conducive to making more cost-effective products.
Generally, there is this to identify how many layers of PCB are.
With the advancement of science and technology, the integration of electronic components has become higher and higher, and the number of layers of the motherboard PCB has also begun to decrease. The materials that need to be “stacked” have also begun to be highly integrated. Think about the previous TVs that require a “so big” space. While the current LCD TVs have been made thinner and have better display effects (ignoring the difference between CRT and LCD technology here), and the same is true for the DIY industry.
The material of the PCB is still different. At present, the mainstream PCB uses glass fiber as the main raw material. The identification method is very simple. The side is very flat and not rough. This is a great PCB. And if you see a particularly rough PCB that may be made of fire-resistant cardboard, it is a poor PCB board.
By the way, a good PCB board is not necessarily particularly hard, but it must be very tough, and can quickly return to its original shape after being gently bent, and there will be no brittleness and deformation. Of course, if your power is great, we not recommend you use this method to test the strength of the motherboard, it is easy to cause damage outside the free warranty.
